We're thrilled to have AFH alumnus Aristotle Forrester as our first Featured Artist in 2025!
Aristotle brings us Decade of Decisions: A Retrospective of Aristotle Forrester—an intimate yet powerful exploration into the complexities of African American identity and the reclaiming of abstraction. Over the course of 10 years, he has created a collection of artworks that centers ancestral memory through abstract gestures. As a black artist navigating the intersections of personal and collective history, Aristotle presents his perspective on the human experience through the emotive power of pigment and gestural mark-making.
